Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, His Life
He visited planet Earth 11 December 1931 – 19 January 1990
Rajneesh, later known as Osho, was born Chandra Mohan Jain on December 11, 1931, in the small village of Kuchwada, located in the Raisen district of Madhya Pradesh, India. He was the eldest of 11 children born to a Jain cloth merchant and spent his early childhood in Kuchwada before moving to Gadarwara. Chandra Mohan Jain. Raised in a Jain family, he was known for being independent and rebellious from a young age.
In Poona/ Pune, India, He talked for seven years 1974-1981 every morning for one and a half hour, changing every week between Hindi and english. This period of 7 years later became known as 'The Poona One Period'. Every single word he said was recorded (!) and many books were made. I had 35 hardcover books, bought from the sannyas center Medina in Englang. He was a professor of philosophy (I often thought about the german philospher Hegel seeing that photo).
I do NOT know much about his life after He moved to USA, Oregon. I know about some of the shit, that the power hungry sannyasins did. I have NOT yet seen the famous Netflix doc "Wild, Wild country" about Rajneeshpuram. Moving to USA was one of his 2 big mistakes
